Hi, I’m Dr. David Janiczek, Founder of GetAdmittedMD and Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Irvine School of Medicine.
Originally born and raised in Eastern Iowa, I studied Integrative Physiology at the University of Iowa prior to attending medical school at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine where I graduated in 2017.
I went on to complete my anesthesia residency at the University of Illinois-Chicago and my fellowship in cardiothoracic anesthesiology at the Ochsner Clinic in New Orleans.
While in medical school, I had the unique opportunity to serve on the medical school admissions committee. I learned the ins and outs of the medical school application process firsthand and with the unique perspective of an nontraditional applicant and committee member.
I created GetAdmittedMD in 2018 to help all students with the the tedious medical school admissions process. I know what it takes to make your application stand out among the rest! Now I want to give you this information as you prepare your application so that you get admitted to medical school!
